Product Code - A3030

These encoders are based on Autonnic's low-noise fluxgate magnetometer technology to create  industrial sub-systems which can resolve shaft angles to 1 part in 4000 - equivalent to 12bits.

The magnetic operation means that they can be completely encapsulated and operate in wet and oily environments. 

There are no shaft seals to fail. The shaft alignment is also not critical and can be operated with or without bearings.  Operation can be through a panel of magnetically non-active material such as aluminium or plastic.

APPLICATIONS

Include Marine, Automotive, Industrial and intrinsically safe zones.

Compass Pickup A4030

This special version of the A3030 can be attached to a ships magnetic compass to create a NMEA-0183 output by detecting the angle of the compass magnet.  

If you are looking to connect this module directly to a computer this can be done by using a serial interface A3035.
